BIOGRAPHY

Hey, I’m Tamir — a product design engineer based in London, UK.

I’ve been called a generalist and I take that as a compliment. I don’t really have one discipline I lean towards over another; instead, I love getting involved in all stages of a development lifecycle. From physical product to digital design and development, I like seeing how everything connects and where my contribution makes a real difference.

I’m probably best known for my “365” project (2020-2021), where I committed to showing my work every single day for an entire year. Sketchlines, guide boxes or screws — nothing gets hidden or erased. I genuinely believe the process matters just as much, if not more, than the final output. That mindset still shapes how I work today.

I’m quite fond of the utilitarian charm of older design. There’s something about the tactile, nostalgic qualities of materials and forms from the past that keeps inspiring my art and product concepts. If my stuff feels a bit vintage, that’s not accidental.

Open-source is how I believe creation should work; I actively contribute to the community by sharing designs and collaborating on projects that prioritise transparency, accessibility and innovation. I love that it leads to better creation through collective knowledge.

Outside the workshop, I’m usually found chasing trails at ultra distances or sending problems on the bouldering wall.
